What happens at the free evaluation lesson?
Your evaluation is a one-on-one session with one of our campus specialists. They'll get to know you or your child, run a series of rhythm and musical ear exercises, and review any prior musical experience. Based on personality, results, and goals, we'll match you with the best instructor on our team and help find the perfect schedule. The whole visit takes about an hour — roughly 30 minutes for the evaluation and 30 minutes for enrollment, onboarding, and getting everything set up. Come ready to sign up if you love it — the schedule spot we find together is only secured once enrollment is complete.
How does billing work?
Lessons are billed monthly to a card on file, automatically. You pay at the beginning of the month, then take your lessons. Monthly cost is $160–$200 depending on the number of weeks in that month (one 30-minute lesson per week).
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts. You can cancel your lessons at any time with 14 days' advance notice before the following month.
What's included in the $60 registration fee?
It's a one-time lifetime fee that covers your student file, progress tracking system, and access to the TWOM parent portal and app. Even if you pause and return years later, you'll never pay it again.
What is the $10/month technology fee?
A $10 monthly fee covers access to the TWOM app (iOS & Android), parent portal, and ongoing research and implementation of new learning technologies. It's automatically charged monthly alongside your lesson tuition.
What is the Academy 30 package?
Academy 30 is a prepaid package of 30 lessons for $997 — a savings of over $200 compared to paying weekly. Great for committed students who want to lock in a lower rate.
Does the $40 cover all instruments?
Yes — same price for piano, guitar, drums, vocals, bass, violin, ukulele, and cello. No instrument carries a premium or surcharge.
What if I'm not happy with my instructor?
We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with your instructor after a lesson, we'll work with you to re-assign to another teacher or find a better match on our team.
Do you accept the Step-Up Scholarship?
Yes, at all 3 campuses. We are a Step-Up for Students direct provider. Your scholarship can cover the enrollment fee and weekly lessons. View Step-Up Scholarship info.
What about recitals, Band Program, and Summer Camp?
These are separate programs with their own pricing. Recitals, the Band Program, and Summer Camps are optional add-ons available to students — check each program page for details.
