With over 20 years of professional experience and 15 years as a music teacher, Max has personally taught over 2,000 students. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he brings his passion for music and commitment to engaging education to students across our three locations in Kissimmee, Narcoossee, and Four Corners. Max's unique, performance-based approach breaks the old paradigm of boring music lessons, making learning fun and dynamic for all ages.
-
Born in Uruguay and relocating to the United States at the age of ten, Max's musical journey is both inspiring and multifaceted. His love for music ignited when he began playing the clarinet at 11, followed by the piano at 13, guitar at 14, and joining a choir at 15. By 16, he was playing piano professionally with salsa bands across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. At 19, he became the lead singer for a band, sharing stages with renowned artists like Luis Fonsi, Shaila Dúrcal, Pablo Alborán, and Natalia Jiménez. A career highlight was performing piano before an audience of over 14,000 people at the Nassau Coliseum in Connecticut.
Max's academic pursuits are as impressive as his musical accomplishments. He holds an Associate Degree in Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Kean University. These qualifications have equipped him with the skills to manage and grow successful enterprises.
At 18, Max began teaching music and soon took on a significant role in building four music schools in New Jersey from the ground up. While he managed every aspect of these schools—overseeing operations, curriculum development, and community outreach—he did not own them. His friend provided the financial investment and held ownership, but Max's contributions were instrumental in their success.
In 2021, Max embarked on his own entrepreneurial journey by founding The World of Music School in Florida. This venture represents his first independently owned business, and under his leadership, the school has flourished. Today, it boasts over 45 staff members, nearly 1,000 weekly students, and three thriving locations. Recognized with Orlando's Best Music Lessons award, the school embodies Max's vision of making music education engaging and accessible to all.
